I own a travel agency and have been so busy I haven't had time to post the next segment of my blog. I hop you all can forgive the delay.
April 9, 2014 Sea Day,
Today was a bit boring to me was a wasted day for not being able to go on an island. For some, sea days are great and use it to unwind and get some relaxing in. I like action. I was never one to just lay around and tan or be happy to do nothing.
While my family got there much needed relaxing in, I mingled in the hot tub. The hot tub is a great place to meet people. In fact in all of my cruises, that is where I met the most memorable friends.
When my skin started to resemble a prune, I decided to dry off while lying in the lounge chairs facing Aft. This is my favorite place to be if I am just laying around. Watching the wake of the ship and the incredible blue of the Caribbean Ocean. It drains your worries away!
Today we tried eating at the pasta Bar upstairs from the buffet. When you get to the top of the stairs a waitstaff gives you a number and a ticket to fill out. When you find a table and get your drinks, you fill out the ticket of what you would like to eat. They had lasagna, salad, Caesar salad and bread. For the pasta you can pick, your noodles, sauce and add-ins, like onions, peppers, zucchini, and others. The waiter comes and takes your ticket from you and brings everything to your table. I have to say it was very good and worth waiting the 30 minutes for the food. It is a very busy place at lunch. It is free at lunch and at Dinner is a small fee. We of course did not go at dinner.
After lunch what would guess that I did? Yup, hot tub! I met two guys that had been on our last cruise. Amazing they were on the next sailing we were on!
Tonight for before dinner we had our pictures taken at the photo booths set up all over deck 5. They're a lot of fun and great quality pictures. They are a lot cheaper than a studio too. WE get our family pictures taken on a cruise every year. You have to because we're already dressed up!Right! It's free to just have them taken, buying is optional.
Dinner was filet mignon, shrimp cocktail, and chicken strips with a sweet chili sauce(that was good, the chicken was not breaded just sauteed)
Tonights movie under the stars was "Pacific Rim" that was really good. They also pop fresh popcorn. I have a thing about falling asleep in public, i gues I was too tired to care! I fell asleep toward the end of the movie. I hope no one saw me drool ! The next movie was "Mockingjay" that I could keep my eyes open for, mostly. I think it's all the fresh sea air!
Tomorrow Jamaica mon!
Sorry no pics today!!! except this little guy!
